- Summary
-
- McLintock!: John Wayne's most popular film of the 60s is a broad, boisterous comedy-western loosely based on William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew. Wayne, in his two-fisted best, stars as a George Washington McLintock, a middle-aged cattle baron who has his hands full with his estranged wife, played by Maureen O'Hara. Verbal fireworks explode, slapstick pratfalls bloom, and the Wayne-O'Hara reconciliation culminates with the biggest mud-hole brawl this side of the Mississippi
- The Unforgiven: A family on the frontier adopts a young girl, but the Indians claim that the girl is one of them, and they want her back
- Once Upon a Time in the West: Frank is a ruthless murderous psychopath who suffers no conscience pangs after annihilating an entire family, and then leaving another man to be falsely accused of the slaughter. Includes commentary, trailers, and more
- Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid: Butch and Sundance head up the infamous Hole-in-the-Wall Gang. Butch's specialty is he's an idea man. Sundance is a true gunfighter. When Butch and Sundance rob a train once too often, a relentless posse is sent to track them down. Finally able to outrun the posse, Butch suggests that he, Sundance and his girlfriend Etta, try Bolivia, thinking Bolivian banks will be easy targets. Based loosely on the exploits of the historical characters
- True Grit: Mattie Ross is determined to avenge her father's blood by capturing Tom Chaney, the man who shot and killed him for two pieces of gold. Just fourteen, she enlists the help of Rooster Cogburn, a one-eyed, trigger-happy U.S. Marshall with an affinity for drinking, and hardened Texas Ranger LaBoeuf to track the fleeing Chaney. Despite their differences, their ruthless determination leads them on a perilous adventure that can only have one outcome: retribution. Bonus includes featurettes, and more
- A Civil War veteran spends five years on the trail of a Comanche raiding party that kidnapped his dead brother's daughters. Breathtaking scenery gives a picture of frontier families separated by miles of emptiness
