It does list every surname giving appropriate page numbers; it also lists alternate spellings with cross-references to the surname spelling used by Savage. It also includes people mentioned in that sketch who do not have that particular surname. For instance under Abbot you will find a Deborah on page 55--where she is listed in the Andrews sketch, as she married a Nathan Andrews. Using the preceding guidelines, women have been indexed under every surname they have ever had (from v.1 p. [517]).Includes index
