Anita Martinez Collection

The Anita Martinez Collection contains a variety of materials related to Mrs. Martinez'a career as a volunteer, a fundraiser, promoter of Hispanic Culture, Dallas City Councilwomen and community activist. Within these areas are photographs, speeches, newspaper clipping files and correspondence. This collection is an excellent resource for Dallas City issues, Hispanic cultural and political issues, as well as biographical information on Mrs. Martinez. The collection is arranged according to the original order in Mrs. Martinez's files. Most of the folder titles were taken directly from the original folder labels. A few subjects may appear in more than one place as they relate to specific areas of interest
