Summary
Karla, a famous actress and singer, decides to take a break from show business after her concert in the town of Zacatillo. Karla's manager, Miriam, who has been exploiting her fortune for years, decides to have Karla killed for fear that she will find out about her embezzlement scam. Karla manages to survive the botched murder attempt but everyone thinks she is dead. She assumes a new identity and takes refuge in Zacatillo, where she once found love and may find it again
