Summary
Explore Alexandria Harbor in Egypt in search of one of the Seven Wonders of the World: A massive tower built by King Ptolemy I Soter in the third century B.C. Measuring approximately 400 feet high, the structure was originally designed as a navigational marker for shipping vessles and it eventually became a fully operational lighthouse. In the fourteenth century, after two earthquakes severely damaged the great lighthouse, its majestic remains sank into Alexandria Harbor, where they lay forgotten for hundreds of years
