Summary
July 19th, 1936. The revolution has just started in a small town near Barcelona. Maria, a young innocent nun escaping from her convent, which is being ransacked by revolutionaries, finds refuge in a whorehouse. In the whorehouse some militia women, Libertarias, burst in with the mission of freeing the prostitutes. Befriended by the group, Maria will participate in the armed fight, and the course of her life will change forever
