- Cast away: Chuck Noland is a FedEx systems engineer whose personal and professional life are ruled by the clock. His fast-paced career takes him to many different locations, causing him to be away from his girlfriend Kelly. Chuck's life is abruptly changed when, after a plane crash, he becomes stranded on a remote island. Now, stripped of the conveniences of everyday life, he first must meet the basic needs of survival, including water, food and shelter. Chuck, who is the consummate problem solver, eventually figures out how to sustain himself physically. After four years, fate gives Chuck a chance to fight his way back to civilization. He does so, but only to find an unexpected emotional challenge greater than all the earlier physical ones. His ability to persevere and to hope are a product of his life-changing experience
- Captain Phillips: Based on the true story of Captain Richard Phillips and the 2009 hijacking by Somali pirates of the US-flagged MV Maersk Alabama, which was the first American cargo ship to be hijacked in two hundred years
- Apollo 13: It had been less than a year since man first walked on the Moon, but to the American public, Apollo 13 was just another 'routine' space flight. That is until these words pierced the immense void of space: "Houston, we have a problem." Stranded 205,000 miles from Earth in a crippled spacecraft, astronauts Jim Lovell, Fred Haise and Jack Swigert fight a desperate battle to survive. Meanwhile, at Mission Control, astronaut Ken Mattingly, flight director Gene Kranz and a heroic ground crew race against time, not to mention the odds, to bring them home
- Sully: On Thursday, January 15th, 2009, the world witnessed the "Miracle on the Hudson" when Captain, Chesley Sullenberger glided his disabled plane onto the frigid waters of the Hudson River, saving the lives of all 155 aboard. However, even as Sully was being heralded by the public and the media for his unprecedented feat of aviation skill, an investigation was unfolding that threatened to destroy his reputation and his career
