Summary
A young woman named Hana lives in an Albanian village ruled by men. When she takes an oath of eternal virginity so she can live free as a man, Hana becomes a sworn virgin named Mark. Years later, restless and feeling imprisoned by his choice, Mark leaves for Italy to visit his sister and family. There, he explores the unexpected pleasures of attraction and the body. He decides to abandon his life as Mark, and sets about rediscovering herself as Hana, becoming a new and liberated person
