Summary
A long time ago in Denmark a childless couple, through a witch's spell, became blessed with a radiantly beautiful girl. She was no bigger than a thumb, so she was called Thumbelina. Snatched from her family by an ugly toad who wanted to marry her, Thumbelina escapes, befriending various creatures of the forest.
