Summary
Failing cotton-mill owner Archie Meighan, married to the nineteen-year-old Meighan "Baby Doll", looks forward to the day his wife turns twenty and will finally allow him to sleep with her. But he has competition in the form of sly business competitor Silva Vacarro, who covets both Archie's cotton mill and his young, beautiful wife. When Archie burns down Silva's own cotton gin in revenge for losing so much business to the other man, it sparks a three-way battle of wills between Silva, Archie, and Baby Doll
